About the piece

Ted Snyder wrote this in 1908, and its success helped him launch the publishing firm where he hired a young Irving Berlin as a staff lyricist.

How it was made

PianoToMIDI listened to the old record and wrote down every note it heard, with its timing and how hard it was played, then split the notes between the hands. Nobody corrected it by hand, so expect the odd wrong note where the record is worn or the playing is dense.
