Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Piano to MIDI (the "Service"), operated by BelieveMotion Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

PianoToMIDI lets you upload a piano audio recording and receive back a MIDI file transcription of it. A limited amount of use is available for free; paid plans with higher limits are described on our Pricing page. We may change what's included in each plan, or the Service itself, at any time.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service, and it isn't directed at children under 13.
• Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You keep ownership of the audio you upload and the MIDI files we generate for you. You're responsible for having the rights to upload whatever audio you submit — don't upload recordings you don't have the right to use. You give us the limited permission needed to process your upload and produce the transcription; we don't claim ownership of your content and we don't use it to train models or for any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.

Uploaded audio and generated MIDI files are processed and held only transiently — see our Privacy Policy for specifics.

Don't use the Service to:

• Upload content you don't have the legal right to use, or that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, quotas, or the account requirement (for example, scripting repeated signups).
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying transcription model.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically until canceled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
• You can cancel anytime from your Account page — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our discretion.
• We may change plan pricing going forward; we'll show current pricing on the Pricing page before you subscribe or renew.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Transcription is generated automatically and may contain errors, missed notes, or misread timing — it's a tool to help you, not a guarantee of accuracy. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BelieveMotion Technologies LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service won't exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or parts of it) at our discretion, with notice where reasonably possible.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
